About the Author

Herbert Lawson lll was born in Sunrise, Los Angeles to Herbert and Doris Lawson Jr. Herbert's parents moved him, his brothers and sisters to Port Allen, Los Angeles where he spent most of his early childhood.

 

After running away to San Francisco at the age of 14 to live with his uncle his life began to take many twists and turns. Herbert's journey throughout his life would take him from Los Angeles to Baton Rouge and from Seattle to Portland and several other states.

 

Herbert currently resides in St. Louis, Mo with his wife, Michele. They have six children and four grandchildren between them.
